1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Amtec Links International FZ-LLC ("Makulli", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Makulli service at makulli.com and app.makulli.com (the "Service").
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
Account information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, password (stored hashed), and the name and details of the organization you create or join.
Service data
When you use the Service, we store the records you create within it: properties, units, residents, leases, invoices, payments, maintenance tickets, documents, and similar property management records. We refer to this collectively as "Your Data".
Payment information
When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers; we receive only tokenized identifiers and metadata necessary for billing.
Usage and technical data
We log IP addresses, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, and product improvement.
Communications
When you contact us via email, in-app messages, or our contact form, we retain the content of those communications to support and resolve your inquiry.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the Service; (b) process payments and manage subscriptions; (c) send transactional emails (welcome, verification, lease, invoice, payment, maintenance, password reset); (d) provide customer support; (e) detect and prevent fraud and abuse; (f) comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use Your Data to train machine-learning models.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only with the following categories of recipients:
- Subprocessors: service providers who help us operate the Service, including Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), and our infrastructure provider (hosting and storage).
- Within your organization: other users in the same Makulli organization (per the role hierarchy you configure).
- Legal and safety: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Makulli, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same protections.
5. Data retention
We retain Your Data for as long as your organization maintains an active subscription. After cancellation, we retain Your Data for up to 90 days to support reactivation, after which it is deleted from production systems. Backups containing personal data are rotated and overwritten within an additional 90 days.
We may retain certain records longer where required by law (e.g. tax records).
6. Data security
We use industry-standard security practices, including: TLS encryption for data in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields (such as Stripe API credentials and webhook secrets), strict row-level data isolation between organizations, role-based access control, and daily backups. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to: access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information; object to certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, write to hello@makulli.com.
Within the Service, you can also: edit your profile, export Your Data to PDF or CSV, and delete your account or organization through the in-app settings.

9. International data transfers
Makulli is operated from the United Arab Emirates and may use subprocessors located in other jurisdictions, including the United States and the European Union. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these jurisdictions, which may have different data protection laws.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you via email or in-app notice.
